Michelle Bracken writes from southern California. She studied creative writing at the University of Redlands, and holds an MFA in Fiction from CSU San Bernardino.

 Her fiction and creative non-fiction have appeared in Litro Magazine, The Baltimore Review, Forklift Ohio, Dewpoint, The Redlands Review, Empty Mirror, The Superstition Review and RipRap. Her personal essay "Eating Together" was listed as a notable mention in The Best American Essays of 2016.
